Brief Biographical Summary
Jonathan Edwards was born in 1703 and died in 1758. He was a prominent American revivalist preacher and theologian, instrumental in the First Great Awakening. Fun fact: Edwards’ sermon “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” is one of the most famous in American history.
