Are You Trusting God Through the Wait?

Waiting is not idle—it’s a time to lean into God’s presence and seek Him in prayer. Advent reminds you that God is faithful in every season, even when you cannot see the fullness of His plan. Prayer is where you draw strength and where hope is renewed, grounding your heart in the promises of Christ.
Today, get on your knees and pray. Bring your questions, fears, and longings to Him, and trust that He hears you. Let His presence bring you peace as you wait, knowing that He is always faithful to fulfill His Word.
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
— Isaiah 40:31
Brief Biographical Summary
William Wilberforce (1759–1833) was an English politician and Christian reformer whose faith inspired his fight to abolish the transatlantic slave trade. He relied on prayer and God’s guidance to persevere through decades of opposition.
Fun fact: Wilberforce’s tireless efforts led to the abolition of the slave trade in Britain in 1807, just three days before his death.
