The Daily Dose #0080

True joy isn’t found in circumstances, possessions, or achievements—it’s found in God Himself. That is because you were made for him the way the bird was made for the sky or the fish the sea. When you make Him your ultimate source of satisfaction, everything else falls into its proper place. Life’s challenges lose their power to overwhelm when your heart is anchored in the unshakable joy of God’s presence.

Today, reflect on where you seek your happiness. Ask God to shift your heart toward Him, and then take action against the things that distract you from filling your heart with meditations that draw you closer to Him. Allow His presence to fill your life with joy that surpasses anything the world can offer. Let Him become your highest treasure, the One who brings lasting peace and fulfillment.

"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
— Psalm 16:11
